At Lawyer-Talk.com, the fees for legal consultations are determined by the individual lawyers who list their services on the platform. The prices can vary based on factors such as the lawyer’s expertise, the complexity of the legal matter, and the service provided.

💲 Price Per Minute:

• Charges for consultations via chat, audio, or video may range from INR 20 to INR 500 per minute or more, depending on the individual lawyer’s pricing structure.
• The exact fee will be clearly communicated to the user before the consultation begins.

🔹 2. PAYMENT MODELS

We offer a flexible range of payment models to cater to different services and user preferences. Below are the available payment models:

• Pay-Per-Minute:
  • Most services are charged per minute for live consultations (chat, audio, or video). The rate is determined by each lawyer individually and can vary significantly between lawyers.
• Fixed Fee Services:
  • Some lawyers may offer services that are charged at a fixed fee (e.g., for legal document review, consultations, or advice on specific legal matters). The fixed fee will be specified upfront before booking.
• Platform Fee:
  • In certain cases, a nominal platform fee may be charged by Lawyer-Talk in addition to the lawyer’s fees. This fee will be clearly stated to the user before proceeding with any service.

🔹 3. MINIMUM BALANCE REQUIREMENTS

To ensure smooth service delivery, the following minimum balance requirements apply:

• Chat, Audio, and Video Consultations:
  • A minimum balance of 5 minutes (calculated based on the lawyer’s per-minute charge) is required to initiate a session.
• Scheduling Meetings:
  • To schedule a session for chat, audio, or video consultation, users must have a minimum of 15 minutes available in their wallet to cover the session duration.

🔹 4. SERVICE DURATIONS AND PAYMENT SCHEDULE

Service durations vary depending on the type of consultation. For example:

• Fixed Duration Services:
  • Some services may be offered for a fixed duration (ranging from 1 month to 6 months).
  • Pricing for such services will be clearly communicated to users prior to booking, including payment schedules and terms.

🔹 5. PRICE MATCHING POLICY

• Since each lawyer sets their own prices, Lawyer-Talk does not offer price matching.
• However, we strive for competitive pricing across the platform, and lawyers may choose to match or offer discounts if a user finds a similar service at a lower price elsewhere.

🔹 6. SALE ADJUSTMENT POLICY

• No Price Adjustments: Once a booking is confirmed and payment is made, price adjustments are not allowed, even if the price changes or discounts are introduced after the booking.
• Rescheduling Services:
  • After a booking is confirmed, rescheduling is typically not allowed. If rescheduling is permitted, it may result in the cancellation of the original booking. Users should refer to the Cancellation Policy for further details.

🔹 7. PRICING ERRORS

While we strive to ensure the accuracy of our pricing:

• Pricing Errors: If a pricing error occurs and the actual price is higher than what was advertised, we reserve the right to cancel the booking and notify the user promptly.
• Any incorrect pricing displayed due to system errors will be corrected as soon as possible, and the user will be informed.

• Each lawyer has the right to refuse service if they feel that their services are being misused or abused.
• If a user engages in inappropriate or disrespectful behavior, the lawyer can refuse the session and terminate the consultation immediately.

🔹 9. PAYMENT METHODS

To ensure secure and seamless transactions, we support various payment methods, including:

• Credit/Debit Cards
• UPI (Unified Payments Interface)
• Net Banking
• Mobile Wallets (such as Paytm, PhonePe, Google Pay)

Users are responsible for providing accurate billing information for successful payments.

• Tax Invoices will be issued for all services rendered. Users are responsible for complying with their tax obligations.
