Court Data Policy
Court-data source, refresh, accuracy, vendor dependency, and audit principles for enterprise court intelligence features.
Source and dependency
Court intelligence features may use backend-only vendor integrations, public court-source data, permitted APIs, normalized snapshots, uploaded records, and internal matter data. Barrister24 does not claim an official eCourts integration unless a specific legal or contractual confirmation exists.
Refresh model
- Active court-linked matters may be refreshed by scheduled worker, manual refresh, or bulk refresh where enabled.
- Refresh intervals are operational targets and may be delayed by vendor rate limits, source downtime, network issues, incomplete source data, or account limits.
- Manual refresh and bulk refresh actions may create audit logs and alerts.
Accuracy limits
Normalized court identity, hearing dates, orders, parties, advocates, judges, status, and summaries are derived from available source data. Official court records, certified copies, counsel verification, and tribunal/court filings prevail for legal deadlines, appearances, filings, and compliance.
Raw snapshots and change detection
Raw vendor responses may be stored under restricted access for audit, debugging, source verification, hashing, and change detection. Meaningful changes may create alerts, but the absence of an alert is not a guarantee that no legal action is required.
User responsibility
Users must verify urgent deadlines, filing dates, hearing dates, orders, and compliance obligations with counsel and official court/source records.
