Enterprise Data Processing Agreement

Enterprise data processing terms covering controller/processor roles, tenant data, subprocessors, security measures, retention, deletion, and DPDP-aligned assistance.

Roles

For enterprise workspace data, the enterprise customer generally determines the purpose and means of processing for its users, matters, documents, notes, tasks, court-linked records, reports, and internal workflows. Vidhivrtti Solutions LLP processes that data to provide, secure, support, and improve the contracted platform service, subject to the signed commercial agreement.

Processing purpose

  • Tenant workspace operation, authentication, role-based access, matter management, court-data sync, document handling, AI drafting, reporting, billing, support, and audit logging.
  • Security monitoring, abuse prevention, backup, incident response, and legal compliance.

Subprocessors

The platform may use subprocessors for hosting, storage, email, communications, payments, analytics, document processing, AI infrastructure, court-data vendors, and support tooling. Subprocessors are expected to operate under confidentiality, access-control, and security obligations appropriate to the service.

Security measures

Controls include tenant isolation, role-based permissions, encrypted transport, restricted secret handling, audit logs, backup practices, access review, and operational incident handling. Sensitive vendor credentials are backend-only and are not exposed to frontend code.

Deletion and return

At contract end or lawful request, tenant data may be returned, deleted, de-identified, or retained only where required for law, audit, dispute, tax, security, or legal hold obligations.

Assistance

Barrister24 will reasonably assist enterprise customers with data-principal requests, security incidents, audits, and compliance reviews according to the signed agreement and applicable law.
